Foundation History
The Shaw Family Foundation was created in June 2011 by Richard C. Shaw and his three sons James Shaw, Robert Shaw, and John Shaw.
Mission Statement
The mission of The Shaw Family Foundation is to carry on the philanthropic legacy of Richard C. Shaw and Ruth J. Shaw.
Scope of Interest
The Foundation intends to support 501(c)(3) organizations in South Central Kansas benefiting social services, arts, and the Kansas University Endowment Association, including the School of Medicine – Wichita and the College of Liberal Arts.
